In Gold Wave F5 goes to the end of the file then starts to
play it in reverse. You can then press F6 to pause, press F6
again and the file will start to play at that position. If
you want to continue going backward press F5 and the file
will continue to play in reverse. You can adjust the

Goldwave will let you increase or decrease playback speed
withoutt altering the pitch. It would be the same as
changing the speed of a cassette player without pitch
control. I am not a Goldwave expert but others on this list
are and perhaps they can give you more details.

You can alter the pitch but that is a completely separate
setting.

Sorry for crossposting but I am having a queer problem.
Sometimes as I am busy working with JAWS it starts continous
speech like r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r
I let this thread go for a while but now it has gone too far
off topic. Please keep messages pertinent to the intent of
