i can confirm both behaviours on max os 10.12.6 with pd 48.0 makes keyup pointless, except for modifier keys. in pd 47-1 (64bit), if one disables keyrepetition (not sure if this is the correct english term) in system settings/keyboard, everything works as expected. keyup only reports after releas
