I'm curious. I had a SuperProgram for many years. What aspect of the
SuperProgram are you wanting that isn't covered by a ZX-5n or MZ-S. I find
the usage of the bodies just mentioned quite similar to the SuperProgram.
So shed some light on what you like so much.

I for one liked the idea of 'digital film' and while the the idea recently

The good old Pentax AF280T should do. I believe it is still available brand
new. I have the Metz 40MZ3i which is an excellent flash, but doesn't balance
well on traditional manual focus bodies which is rather small in comparsion.
I use it mainly on Z-1p.

Certainly a difference can be cost. In some areas slides are cheaper and
others prints are cheaper. One way that I hold down cost is to use negative
film and just have it processed but not printed. Since I am scanning
anyway, C-41 process costs me US $2.29 per roll and E-6 costs me $5.99.
