I've got a trial copy of Lightroom installed, and it
has me pondering the best way to organize my
burgeoning photo files.
The setup is: A G5 iMac with 14 gig left on its 75 gig
hard disk, and an external 250 gig hard disk that is
only 1/3 full.
I originally planned to make the iMac drive
Hafta take your word for the rig--the gaff doesn't
really show from this angle, and it just looks like a
sloop.
The photo would benefit from some cropping, methinks.

I'm runing Lightroom with the pictures at an external disk. Smoothly so far.
Using the internal as a temporary backup drive sounds like a good idea. I
may adopt it. It will force me to make the DVD when the drive is piling up.
I've learned the hard way that Lightroom needs a lot of free space.
I believe that the County where Jack Daniel's is distilled is dry. They
like it that way, the apocryphal reason being that none of it would make
it out of the county otherwise.

My own experience over the years is that one can never tell. My two current
drives (40gig WD's) are old indeed (in personal computer years), but seem to be
fine, other than somehow having shrunk they were ridiculously large when I
bought them. A decade or more ago I had a small server running
I visited the Jack Daniel's distillery years ago. Quite a tour. No samples
but be sure to sniff the vat.

It looks like an Excellser to me. They, to the best of my knowledge were not
made by Schwinn; they were made by Henderson, I think.

Never knew they made motor bikes/cycles. Any idea as to year of the bike?

The manual that came with my wife's D-Lux3 explicitly stated that one
should not expect the on-camera histogram to agree with a histogram
in any post-processing software.
To ease the processing load, I would guess that the on-camera
histogram is a rough approximation taken by extrapolation
