Funny! I might crop that boulder off the top, Dave--go for a more square
crop. It might make the henless chicken pop more. :-)Cheers, Christine

I think some of you went to Navy Pier during the Chicago PDML trip. Here's
what it looks like from above. I was at a party in the sky over the
weekend. Just thought I'd give you guys a peek. Taken about 8:17 p.m.

I saw something on craigslist the other day that was too inexpensive to
pass up. K 1000, with a pentax 50/2, cosina 200/4, a 2x and a small
flash for $35.
I don't know what I'll use them for, probably pass the glass along in
case a friend is starting out with Pentax gear.

Wow, very nicely done. So 'in the sky' means...? Bird, plane,

I thought this interesting because of our recent discussion. Just
popped up as a news story.

I'm a happy owner of the same lens, with the same problem.
I'm not sure if the screw is broken. I don't have the lens here, so I
can't check it out. But as I recall, it is meant to look like this.
Don't remember the details, but try to fiddle more with it, and see if
you can get it to fit better.
Larry,
You should consider joining Lens Buyer Anonymous. :-)

PS. (I was a bit too slow and missed a $100 deal for a Zenitar 16mm
fisheye yesterday, because I was thinking too long if I would use it
or it will sit in the closet after the first week of playing with it.)

When I was a teenager, the Navy still did some work there, and the old
Silversides submarine and a small destroyer were parked alongside. The
University of Illinois used one of the buildings for its Chicago campus, and

I took Boris and Jostein for a drive past on Exhibition Friday.
This is a much prettier view of the activities.
