As presented, I think the tone scale looks too compressed. It has a
look that verges on conspicuous HDR. Not overly conspicuous, but imo
firmly in the realm of taste for tonemapping effects.
The yellows pops very nicely, but the greens look very grayish and
murky on my screen.

Another step back of the K-7 over the K20D is the button layout and
operation on the back. Worst of all is the f*g LV button, always
blinding the viewfinder and flashing the screen in my eyes as I try change
the AF point at eye level.
From looking at the macro shots, I wouldn't place too much confidence
in these results. Looks like the focus is screwed on both the Canon
and the 645 shot.
The 645 bokeh looks really delicious on both the macro and the
cherry-tree shots though. :-)

Beavers over here are extremely elusive. Those shots would have earned
you a lot of cred in nature photo circles, since it's very ingrained
with them that it's very important to find a human-tolerant specimen
and make the most of it. :-)
