Took a trip to a local zoo over the weekend and managed to get a few decent
shots around kids bent on smudging as much gunk on the glass viewing ports
as possible.
The cats playing in water were the highlight of the day. Of course, these
kitties could kill ya if they wanted to.
I think it took 2 or so hours the first time I charged mine. Much faster
than the K10 charger.

Ok, after seeing Portrait Professional advertised on my own website (I
REALLY wish the ad guys would tell me ahead of time when they land a new
client) and seeing a previous discussion here I contacted the developers and
got my hands on a review copy of the Portrait Professional Studio software

Ouch! Oh, that is not fun. We had a drive crash that had all our financial
data on it a while back. A local computer guy was able to recover things
but I'm not sure exactly how he did it. I do know he had to crack the hard
drive case and plug it into his computer with some sort of adapter.

I shoot more for magazines than newspapers. I haven't had to secure model
releases for those pubs either. It just doesn't happen very often in the real

itself doesn't use model releases all the time - magazines and online
properties owned by NYT that aren't news outlets MUST have model releases.
Even newspapers have been successfully sued when photos are released with
not technically legally requiring releases in
order to protect from lawsuits.

wildlife rehabilitation center. I volunteer with them so that my daughter
gets the opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation in person even
though she isn't quite old enough to be an official volunteer yet.
