Took a trip to a local zoo over the weekend and managed to get a few decent shots around kids bent on smudging as much gunk on the glass viewing ports as possible. The cats playing in water were the highlight of the day. Of course, these kitties could kill ya if they wanted to.

Ouch! Oh, that is not fun. We had a drive crash that had all our financial data on it a while back. A local computer guy was able to recover things but I'm not sure exactly how he did it. I do know he had to crack the hard drive case and plug it into his computer with some sort of adapter.

This is Ireland, a red-tail hawk that is an education bird at a local wildlife rehabilitation center. I volunteer with them so that my daughter gets the opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation in person even though she isn't quite old enough to be an official volunteer yet.
