Hi Pentaxians
I do not find the time to read all the messages on the PDML but take a lot
of photographs nearly every day.
You would not believe that the K10D was not available in Switzerland until
today!
So, finally I can order one next week for my panorama calendar project :-)

Although you've already seen quite a few examples, I did promise to follow up
on this morning's faux DA 50-200 shot with some genuine articles. Here are a
few from my photo.net page. I think you've probably seen that you can't go too
wrong with this lens.
Beautiful city, nice collage. It looks very professional.
I don't use the DA 21 (yet), but Godders is very fond of it, and I'm sure he'll
respond. I think Wheatfield has one as well.

Does anyone use the DA 21mm lens with it?
Would you recommend it?
Yes, very much. A great lens.
In between, a collage of Zurich photos for a greeting card. All

You're welcome, Tim.
Performance on Windows XP/PC hardware is often also compromised by
the lack of the SSE2 instruction set, and at least one person on this
photo.net thread (last posting) reported a big improvement in
performance when he upped his RAM from 1G to 2G:
Jens,
Lightroom only creates copies of the image source files if you import
using the copy or move options. It does not make copies at all if
you use the reference files in their existing location option. When
it does make a copy, it makes only ONE copy unless you set the option
to backup
I have the 50-200DA and the FA 70-200, that was recently repaired from
the fall i had this fall:-)
I preferr the 70-200, just a tad more than the 50200.
Seems everso slightly better for focusing in dimmer light.
Although i have not printed a picture from either lrns, the 70-200
looks, a tad

Adorama (www.adorama.com) is offering the Sandisk Extreme III 2 gig SD card for
$79.95. The manufacturer has a $20 rebate in place, which is referenced on the
adorama site. It's a bargain at $59.95. (I think. Although with prices of
memory dropping every day, it's hard to be sure:-).
