The requirements seem a bit peculiar at first, but not really very complicated.
Size:
Max heigth is 600 pixels. It is a good idea to use 600 pixels to get
the most out of the presentation interface.
Due to limitations in the same interface (which is Flash-based), they
don't want panoramic

I do believe it is out of line.
I had one of this style body back in the early 50's and the lens was
designed to be pulled out to this position from being hard against the mount
- you kept pulling and then rotated it to engage a breech type lock on the
end of the barrel which engaged in a socket

I think that AF in general is the main failed subject of Pentax DSLRs
(I would say of Pentax SLRs in general but I haven't tested the MZ-S one, that
is supposed to be a good one).

That's one of the newer 'Takumar(Bayonet)' lenses. IMHO it's quite sharp but
flares easily. Had my mitts on one for a couple weeks (loaner from a friend
with GAS) and was favourably impressed. Will probably look for an M42 Super or

Well, using the larger display option on photo.net,
the top of the light-colored band of water is 2.8 cm
from the bottom of the pic on the left and 2.8 cm from
the bottom on the right. Said light band of water is
thinner and brighter on the right, and I think gives
an illusion of
