Wondering out loud, and it is quite possible I have missed something. Why was the reset button for the AF zone selection moved from the OK button to a separate AF button? In the *ist cameras, the OK button would reset the zone to the centre, if you were shooting with manual zone select. But

Hello list. I have a Pentax K10D camera and have M and A Takumars. The difference between the two is with A ones I can set the aperture on the camera while on the M ones I can set it only on the lens. There's no real problem with this since I prefer to set it on the lens :D as I got used to it

It's a hardware limitation in the camera. Pentax in it's wisdom decided to do away with the mechanical aperture sensor. To use an M lens at anything other than maximum aperture or an A, F or FA lens using manual aperture set with the aperture ring, you must use stop down metering. This is
