Hi Boris, Welcome on board. You did pick an outstanding camera and from your lens usage, you are a prime man. Put a wide angle prime lens on your list of items to get. With Pentax equipment, it does not need to be auto-focus and some of the best prime wide have Pentax on their lens rim.

akozak, All perform quite well. The worst performer IMO, was the FA 28/2.8. It has light falloff problems until about f8 - quite noticeable. In trying to trim my kit down a bit, that was the worst of the bunch. Each lens mentioned (24,35,50) are different enough to not compare directly. That

My FA 31 is going to Pentax. The front and rear halves of it are loose. The front (distal) half slides forward and back a couple of millimeters. When it is slid forward, the lens won't focus, either manually or automatically. Joe

yeah, that's pretty much what I was planning to do Herb. I have some lenses with 77mm threads, but I was mainly worried about wasting money on a series of 67 or 77mm screw ins grads which could not be easily 'rotated' on the lens. I am sure you can rotate screw ins a bit, but knowing my luck
