I checked the histogram on the jpeg I posted and the original, and I've
just looked at the jpeg under higher magnification, even without the
artificial grain pattern I added there's detail in the white shed. You
really need to adjust that monitor.

The photo needs more detail in the figures. Not that
I know how to get it there; the only statue of Charles
Dickens in North America is a block away, and while
very nice to look at, its dark bronze has been
impossible to
lighting and background are great, but I am not sure about the vase
- it distracts from the subject. I suggest a taller less distinctive
vase would show off the subject better. I would also be interested in
