No. With the later versions of the firmware, the built-in flash can serve as a
controller. I've used by AF540 GZ wireless on a tall stroboframe. Works well.

I'm a K-500/4,5 user. It is a beast, and I wish it was sharper, but the CA
is tameable. You just need to have a few things in mind. First, fokus is
crittical, very crittical.
It also helps to step down. Usually I shoot around f:8, but if I'm able to
