the 70-210/4, use the same ring for both - to zoom you push/pull like a

No, with 1 touch zooms, the push pull
is almost always for zooming not focus.
Focus is achieved by twisting the 1 ring.

Do the push-pull-twist zoom/focus rings help these lenses be any
better in tune than the average trombonist?
