Hi Frankie,

yours and the fact that the 30s are hard to find and expensive, I would go
after either the 28 or 35mm. Actually, any of the three will be hard to

, a 35 mm format lens may provide too
much coverage and degrade the image due to flare.

i'm thinking of getting some really cheap cameras for my twin nephews (12
years old, combative, obnoxious-they really remind me of myself at that
tender age)
You may try Fuji cameras of the same era. My brother had one and pawned the
50 mm standard to my father so he could have the inferior
a
fine-grained 4X5 negative. I have since cooled down and have a Horseman VHR
that I use for medium format. It offers the flexibility of a view and ease
as a range-finder.
Sorry,

like your compromise of the Horseman and may give that some consideration
as time goes by, but, at my age, of course, there may not be much time :)!

Dig out your old Spotmatic and a few lenses and have a Spotmatic weekend.

K2 body, SMCP 35/3.5, SMCP
As much as I would like to encourage you to scrap the Sigma ( bought one one
time for my wife's Minolta only to have it fall apart 12 months down the
track) I think there may be a mirror alignment problem. The mirror plays an
important part in the viewfinder image as well as providing the target
BTW - The formulas are the same except for the additional element. It was
probably added to provide a flatter field.

Question,
Who would charge that much? and is that US dollars? I have seldom spent
more that 100 (55 USD) for a mechanical camera repair and the Pentax
Australian Distributor C. R. Kennedy. Exception, when I paid 175 ( 90 USD )
to repair and service my LX.
