Though the slower ones have mostly faded to oblivion, I suspect some remain.

All of the dancing shots were taken with the 18-55. Seems sharper than the
other 18-55s I've tried.
Might just be perception or sample. Or the lens might be diff. Anyone know
about this?

This is the fourth that I've shot with. None of the others was the II or
WR.
All three were dogs, like using the old FA35-80.
This one gives good results. I'll keep it just out of principle.

Got J.M.'s 70/2.4 LTD. Nice. Pretty black with a black cap to match.
Took two shots with it right away. I'm a happy camper.

I've been using a polarizer on my 18-55WR and am pleased with the results.
I'm wondering how many others use filters (other than UV/1A) on their
lenses?
Also, if you do b&w with the DSLR, do you use your Yellow, Orange, and Red
filters as with film?

>whats different about it vs previous pentax dslrs?
With previous models I had to press a button so that the ss would be
selected.
It's like the camera recognizes that the arm is there. Doesn't do anything
with it,
but it is half-way. At least that's my impression.

Picked one up cheap today.
K-mount, but that's where the compatibility ends.
No aperture ring. So I put it on macro and shot the K5 @ f22 with the
flash.
Really not a bad image.
But I don't think I'll keep it.

Just found a decent price on the A* 300/4 with case. Nice lens.
Now to find something to shoot with it.
I was also wondering ... if I aligned a laser at the back end, would it/could
it be even more precise when it got to its target (like the moon)?
