Yeah - that is a good catch. A couple of years ago I made about 20 round
trips into central Indiana from my home in Michigan, and one of my
favorite routes was to take Indiana 13 straight down - passing through
Shipshewana and then another 100+ miles south -it gets very rural along
the way.
I ordered a set of the Opteka tubes for the Q last week and they arrived
today.
First impressions: They work as advertised retaining full AF and
aperture control etc. They have full contacts so everything functions as
you'd expect. But - the AF gets somewhat unreliable at higher
excellent with the shorter tubes, though.

Hi Ann -
For what you are doing, I think that the ideal would be to put the
camera on a set of focus rails, focus in on the front edge and then just
move the rails a little closer, shoot again, repeat till you get to the
end. If you don't have the focus rails just turn the focus ring. Given
extra for each picture or not.

Excellent finale to a really great set of images, Stan. The tree frogs
are great as is the spider and the grasshopper in the coneflower. Strong
