Is it possible to pull text from a text file and insert it into a table in

In some cases it would have to pull text from a certain part in the text

Yes, you have got a few thing mixed up, to be exact DSO and CGI.
The DSO module containing the PHP engine is loaded into Apache,
and therefore it doesn't the CGI version (php.exe) anymore.
So 'ScriptAlias' is only needed for CGI installations, and you don't
need the 'Directory'
part either.

How do you do that exactly - sorry for the stupid question - but the perms
for [absolute_path¹]/ is already rwxrw-rw-.
Let me know if you are referring to a different way to set permissions...

That was the problem. One of the directories in the path did not have
execute permissions.

Anyone have any good advice for an upgrade strategy from php4.3.6 to
php5.0.1? I have a MAC OSX 10.3.5 system that I use for my test machine and
an Open BSD system for my production machine. The production machine is
