I installed pandoc via apt on an Ubuntu Server installation (don't recall if it's 10 or 11) without any trouble. Pandoc does have some optional Markdown extensions for dealing with inline code and syntax highlighting. Aside from seeing the syntax, I have not played around with it yet. Unless som
