I'm a newbie to PHP and so to PHPWeather, too.
I have some questions.
At home I can use the 1.52 version (putting "*/" after "to the
database." in the ~42nd line in "phpweather.inc" file).
However, at my office I'm behind a firewall, and phpweather doesn't
work, it says: "No data". I use the s

The 1.5.5 version seems to work with our proxy!

I have a dial-up connection to the Net. I tried PHP Weather 1.5.5

I know this is rather a pure PHP-related question, but...
it relates to PHP Weather.
Startpoint:
I checked some webpages (e.g. NWS - National Weather Service), and
found somewhere that some data are rounded (that's why they give:
3000 feet, 5000 feet, and such). That's logical.

Hello Martin!
I modified a bit the 1.55 version.
I use Lynx browser (text-only) and it can't handle the

Probably you'll also receive a big (2..3 MB?) mail from an unknown
Korean address, saying:
"Hi! How are you? I send you this file in order to have you advice."
The attachement is a big .DOC.COM file, so it will run under Windows.
I guess it's virus-infected.

It seems that I was subscribed at the same time to both 'phpweather'
lists (old and new), but I received the mails in one copy only...
(it's OK, I just don't know why...)
Meanwhile I unsubscribed from this old mail-list address, what will be
the new address of the list?
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ???
