[PLUG] Which CPU

Folks, I have a Shuttle SH67H3, it has an i5 CPU on it. Of course it has been around for a while, but I keep on thinking, why get a new one when perhaps putting a i7 on it will give me some more speed. I have looked at i7 processors but not sure exactly which of the bunch to get. Here is the info

Well, the cooling is liquid, has a large heat exchanger to get rid of the heat and the CPU part is a large piece of copper that is held down on the CPU, the heat is moved out of the copper block via heat pipe to the heat exchanger. I see the i7's all over the place too. From boxed devices for over

Yes, I tried that one, the solution that I found did not work, I am still working on it though. The two installs of Ubuntu Mate 16.04 work just fine, but this machine which has the same quite some time back. I am going to back it up and perhaps just re-lay the OS and start anew, may wait until 18.0
