SlimServer needs to start after MusicMagic service in order to recognize
MM. Stop and then restart of SlimServer with MusicMagic running should
work.

Mattias,
Very nice - one question: what is the setting to get the 'mosaic' of
album covers from your SlimServer collection??
Thanks much!

Thanks to your help I have what I need in a very straightforward manner
though no doubt it could be further enhanced.
I use the composer, artist, title, album and track number tags only but
how they are used does depend on the type of piece.
For a multi-part work, eg. a symphony or sonata, then
Perhaps I should have also said that I use the SB3 menus almost
exclusively - I don't have a PC in the room with the hi-fi.So I don't
know anything about the right-click stuff.

I use MusicIP headless but on a Clarkconnect 4 box.
This is what I did to start MusicMagicServer at boot before
SlimServer.
1. Extract MusicIP directory to /usr/local/ (seems as good a place as
any).
2. Wrote a start up (init) script, called it MusicMagicServer and
dropped it the init.d
Ok, I have bough cables to go from my transporter to my amplifier remote
in which is a mono phono socket. I made the mistake of ordering other
cables from the slimserver web site but will throw these away since
they would cover up the IR socket on my amp and would look ugly.

Ok, just uploaded Moose 0.56 to both the group and the site..
Briefly, the new stuff:
* New look and feel - custom title-bar, menus, transparent buttons, etc..
* New touchscreen, party and fullscreen modes (still in development but usable)
* Mono support - semi-usable under Mono 1.2.4 -

Mattias,
Nice work here.
Wanted to let you know that on my system (Windows XP desktop; Ubuntu
SlimServer 6.5.2) if i have a source playing music without album art
(e.g., internet radio) the screensaver crashes.
Can you (or another user) reproduce this?
Thanks again.

Good work - looks great.
I have a few small issues with the cover chooser though:
1. I have artwork bouncing around the screen. However, quite a few albums
appear to be dancing off the top of the screen; I can just see the very bottom
of the artwork in the top-right hand corner of the window.
2. I have albums with missing artwork (displayed as grey circles). In
previous releases there was an option to not display albums with missing
artwork, but I can't find it now. Nb. This would be nice as an option in the
Moose preferences, as I always only want to show albums with artwork in

Erland,
I've actually stopped using custom browse. What I would like is
something that allowed me to choose the tags in a pretty random order -

For example, I like the dabs system - see www.dabs.com - where you can

I put the complete path into the backup file parameter, and it is
