I cant seem to get iPeng to work with my iMac server rather than My
Squeezebox which works fine
I really need the local server to work so I can access Triode's
BBC iPlayer
BBC iPlayer Extra
Spotify
Any idea how to do it please?

There is no http in the Favorite - the plugin creates a neew protocol
entry which is equivalent to http so just use wavin:
Are you running SBS as a service/background ? If so, the plugin will
not work as services have no access to audio subsystem.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. I figured out the problem. For older
clients, there is a 3rd party Spotify Premium. It works perfectly. I
really appreciate your support for Softsqueeze. It's really the only
way I can listen to music on all my TV extenders.

Could you send me a mail using the link under Help in the App and
also tell me the IP address of your server (can be found in the Web
interface under Settings-Information).

I've noticed that the alphabet navigation bar on the right-hand side of
the ipod screen is only displayed if there 50 or more artists in a
genre.
Is there way to change this limit?
I have a couple of genres that have about 45 artists in them, so the

After you have selected the Favorite you created and pressed Play - the
elapsed timer should start and keep running.
If the timer has stopped then for some reason the support app is not
running and it is necessary to find out why the support app and
possible flac are not running.

I did an uninstall/reinstall of the 1.4.3 plugin on SBS 7.6.0 and now it
seems fine. It appears that on the first install it did not create the
directory spotifycache/ (or the files that were supposed to be in it)
under /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/

this. (1.4.3 would not work if a previous version had not been
installed before as it tried to create a file in a directory which did
not exist)

I set the log setting of the plugin to DEBUG, an then proceed in
playing a song. Then I open the LOG file of the plugin and this is

Rdefin's problem was due to an esoteric network setup. If you are
getting menus but no sound then the usual problem is that the helper
app (spotifyd.exe) is not allowed to receive connections by your PC's
