Not sure if this is addressed elsewhere, it's hard to use this forum's
search tool.
I set up a group and then set up an alarm on this group.
For some reason, when the alarm went off, both players changed their
volume- one of them to 100%.
Is there a setting for this ? I would prefer either

Craig,
As always, thank you for your excellent work on Material Skin. I have a
small feature request for your consideration.
When in desktop layout, with now playing at the bottom, would it be
possible to allow clicking on the album art graphic to "expand now
playing" just like the existing
Oh. Okay. That whole part of the plugin code is a black box to me as the
only Apple products I have ever owned were an Apple II (actually two of
them) and an iPod Touch 4th gen. I still have the iPod in a drawer
somewhere. Maybe I should give it a charge and see if it will run iPeng.

This is a feature that is unique to iPeng. The author added the plugin
audio features capability. I never reached out to the Squeezer author
to see
I recently noticed that the rating stars disappeared from my material
skin views. When I go to the server settings, I can see that "Show
Rating" has turned off. I can turn it on, but no stars reappear, and if
I open Material skin in other browsers, it still says that "Show Rating"
is off.

That seems to have worked thanks. No pauses so far and no crashes /
lagging.

Old example of streaming http/MP3 from a CD player in a PC. The source
device can vary according to the source, CD player, DVB-S card, USB
etc.
Code:
vlc cdda:///dev/hda --sout
"#transcode{acodec=mpga,ab=128}:standard{access=http,mux=raw,url=:8080/vlcstream.mp3}"

I think the answer might be to run pulseaudio as a daemon

That seems to say there is no audio input support on your NAS.
What model Synology NAS have you got ? It is unusual to have audio
input on a NAS ?

Ah ... for the plugin to work I think it has to be on the same system as
LMS.
However, I expect there is a way to achieve the same outcome.
bpa might have a quick answer while I go away to think again.

Thank you for this answer.
I may have made a mistake.
My LMS is on my Synology NAS and I ran `arecord -l` on my Ubuntu 20.04
workstation (squeezelite) and I want to send the sound to my Squeezebox
Boom.
If I run arecord -l on the nas, I get this:
Code:

They are doing something special - I see "OPTIONS" request being used -
not usual.
Normally for "awkward" streams, I advise to use PlayHLS V1 which uses
ffmpeg but even ffmpeg cannot play these streams and

That's great. Thanks.

This might work ... or at least be the basis of a solution - for the
Denon at least.
Create a Group Player called "Denon Zone 2" (or whatever you want of
course).
Add the Denon Airplay player to it.
In the Denon plugin ... configure "Denon Zone 2" to select Zone 2 on the
Denon hardware on
