Is it always the same URL when the error is logged?
Is the correct weather data displayed for your location?

Good point but I can point you to artists who have released more than
one album in the same year which

After restarting the system the LMS runs on I'm seeing the following

Here's what's working right now for me, including metadata updates to an
Azuracast radio. It's slightly above "hack" status, but appears to be
working. I get really small pops every now and again, and I haven't
narrowed it down to metadata updates, or something with buffering, or
just the

Material always shows date.

No, the http stream has to be unprotected. It is, after all, inside your
LAN. Why would you want LMS to be password-protected for local use?
My albums display with a date attached. Is there a way to disable that
globally? The date of the album is of no interest to me.
Is that a function of the Material Skin and LMS, or would I need to edit
tags?

OK. It was worth a shot.
I went back to "bad supply" and got errors again but slightly different:
dmesg now has "over-current" warnings and the CD playing got stuck in a
groove - played the same 3 secs over and over again while logging the
"Read" errors but timeout was 0 secs.

d6jg, maybe I'm misreading what you are working on, but in case it might
be helpful, I messed around with snd-aloop (as bpa mentioned) some time
ago 'in this thread.'
Do you think a powered hub would make a difference? Can't see the
difference other than it might take just one USB data cable?

I've unplugged everything and I'll leave it for a while before trying
again.
The "scatterlist" now feels like the kernel tidying up after the failed
"Read" command.

Grr.
I wanted to be methodical in testing and trying USB PSUs of varying
capacity down from 2.5A to 0.85A but all worked.
I then went back to original "bad supply" I cannot get the errors to
re-occur.
Since the test was the first I did this today - everything was "cold" -
so I still think it

Played around with a few things and success - I have replicated the
errors that you see.
When working, my CD drive has both Y cable plugs plugged into two
sockets of a single

I haven't tried any of the music similarity stuff yet.
I have a question though ... what would happen if MP3 (or potentially
FLAC) with associated .cue (or possibly embedded cue for flac) is part
of the source where the audio file has a lot of songs in it and their
position is marked by the cue

I did that, been running it with only Bliss & Musly, in a 50/50
"simplemixed" simalgo, while analysing with Essentia in the background.
