I was challenged by my 5 year old to send the output of my Windows-based
Audio PC running Ableton and capturing sounds from my synthesizers to
our Raspberry Pi Logitech Media Server so that we could listen
throughout the "whole house" I know about the "Line-in" plugin on
LMS... But how can

Well I'm not quite sure how I did it but, it seems after messing around
with my Raspberry Pi tinkering with installing and uninstalling Docker
I've somehow, maybe messed up my Spotty functionality on my
SqueezeServer. I'm running Logitech Media Server Version: 8.2.0 -

There's a particular internet radio station I used to listen to called
"The Buzzout Room". They've since stopped broadcasting and have
converted their "Station" to an ever evolving Spotify Playlist that, as
of now, has 1604 songs. When I queue up the playlist using my Spotty
Plugin I notice

I've got a Raspberry Pi 4 with an AudioInjector Stereo card attached.
Raspbian Desktop. I use this Pi as a Family Media PC. We play videos
via VLC, pass audio from the TV through the input channel and then out
to the speakers. We also have Squeezelite installed to act as a music
player. To

I'm having some trouble getting Spotty to play well on my Raspberry Pi.
What is the default sample rate on Spotty (44100?) and if so can I
change it to 48000 as a default?

You're right! I'm running on too little sleep these days.
Haven't figured out what Spotty's sample rate is yet. Still

I'm putting the finishing touches on my Windows to Linux-Pi migration
and have run into a small snag: On my Raspberry Pi 4b (Raspbian)
running Squeezelite, I notice that Squeezelite cannot play local MP3
media that's encoded at 48000. 41000 play fine. VLC on this same Pi
seems to play both
My timing is off as well, I guess. I'm just in the process of migrating
my LMS from Windows to Pi 4b. When I try to run the YouTube Plugin
(i.e. play YouTube saved favorite) I get the following in the LMS

Not intentionally. I'm simply using this Pi to act as a "media PC"
where the family can play what they like on it on the family room TV and
speakers. I take the audio from the TV (HDMI

Just got Squeezelite running on Raspberry Pi 4 (Raspbian Desktop) using
an AudioInjector Stereo hat. Plays fine for a while then starts
stuttering. However, I didn't realize that the playback speed/pitch of
the music was way to fast/high until I played a song that I knew the

Michael! Thanks so much for your guidance and support with my Spotty
plugin issues. As it turns out my issue was likely a file permissions
issue within Windows that was resolved my deleting and recreating my
extremely bloated user profile. Since then I've been very much using

I'm very excited about getting Spotty setup on my LMS system but I'm
hitting a snag somewhere and need some help:
I'm running LMS 7.9.1 on a Windows 7 PC. I have among several other
versions MS V C++ 2015 (x86) installed. But can't get beyond the
authentication screen on the plugin folder.
Looks like I keep occasionally seeing this message in the LMS Server log
when I'm having problems with the MixCloud Plugin:
[17-12-04 10:43:28.2090] Plugins::MixCloud::ProtocolHandler::getTrackUrl
(109) Error: Cannot get play URL for MendelKa/16201/ from
Looks like I took some kind of LMS update (v7.9.1, 1510723637) according
to the log and since it did if any of my players have Mixcloud in the
playlist it grinds the server to a basic crawl stop halt so to speak.
Got lots of these messages repeating in the Server log:

Finally got around to installing MixCloud and resolving a little issue
with encoding MP4's I had. I noticed however that the MixCloud Track
will not play for very long (a few minutes or so) before it stops. I
checked the log file and find that upon playing a MixCloud track I get
hundreds of these

I remembered that I also have a "spare" instance of LMS dormant (turned
off) on a backup Windows 7 machine. Thought I'd fire it up and see if
it even had the YouTube Plugin installed. It was installed and,
interestingly, when telling my players to use the backup server, the
