Darn...too bad. And you've tried a complete power-down and restart on
your hardware music server

Michael,
Something in the logs got me to thinking, so I checked the Squeezelite
internal stream and output buffers. I believe I'd been fooling around
with the buffer sizes at some point a few months ago, and forgot to
reset those values to the default. I hadn't used Pandora in a while

Michael,
I've never done the logging thing before so bear with me if I mess it
up. I shut my server down completely, restarted, and then enabled the
logging preference for the pandora plugin to debug and started Pandora
playing. Following is what I got. I'm not sure what I'm seeing here,
but

In the past three or four days, I've started having a strange problem
with Pandora where it stops exactly 45 minutes from when I start playing
music from one of my "stations". I have a paid Pandora Premium
account.
I've repeated this at least five times, so I'm confident it's not just a

Well, I don't know German, but I think I get it that that last , 8th,
item is the Cancel choice, which I do not have (I only have the 7
choices I mentioned). Yes, I can definitely quit the menu by touching

It works, but just once. On the main screen, if I press and hold the
shuffle button and then use the menu to choose, say, shuffle by song, or
don't shuffle.then tapping the button on the

Hi Pippin,
In past versions (I'm using the latest version of iPeng on an iPad) I
used to be able turn the shuffle function on and off from the "now
playing" screen. This no longer seems to work. Is that on purpose or a
bug? Or, have I inadvertently done something to change this?

Don't know if this has been brought up in this lengthy thread, but.I

we all know, albums and tracks can sometimes disappear without notice
from Spotify. I find that when I'm playing a playlist that arrives at a

Michael,
Don't know if this is related to the Protocol Handler or some other
issue, but not all of the tracks in playlists I've created (did this
several years ago---on Spotify through their website, not through LMS,
etc.) are displayed in LMS (or iPeng, of course). For instance, I have

all I see is text. Oddly, on all my playlists and on the LMS web

Hi Pippin,
I just received a new vortexbox micro appliance today and it's running

That setting tells you that the server will pre-cache artwork for iPeng.
There's a server feature that allows Apps to register the artwork sizes
they use for pre-caching (since 7.8). This means the thumbnails are

Sounds a bit like you need to clear the artwork cache or artwork.db. If
only the thumbnails don't show up it usually means that something's
wrong with the artwork scaling un the server.
Yep, the scan completed just fine. So.how do I go about
iPeng and 7.9???

It must have somehow been related to artwork scaling or precaching.
The web interface uses standard sizes that always get pre-cached

pre-caching.

Ah, indeed, the same thing happens when I tried using the web interface.
Clearly not an iPeng issue, then.
