Hi All,
I have had CastBridge running happily on my Synology NAS for a few years
after first having problems with configuration files. However, I have
recently changed over to a QNAP NAS and I have been trying to setup LMS
and CastBridge again on there.
Currently I am running it in a container
I'm not sure when this stopped working (it usedf to work) but Metadata
and artwork are not showing when I cast anymore (Nest Hub for example).
I don't see much in the logs...

Just installed 8.0.0 and my Google devices went silent. I can hear the

Reinstalled Chromecast plugin but no change so I deleted castbridge.xml
and this fixed issue. Castbridge.xml was recreated and the Chromecast
name of "Chromecast TV" has been renamed as "Sitting Room TV" so

Mostly this is while LMS should be peacefully asleep. The Chromecast
audio devices most of the times ar not active or being used to play

First of all this plugin is fantastic :)) I own an ancient Logitech
radio, had LMS running on an old Mac and I recently migrated that to a
new Mac Mini with Catalina. And two speakers connected to
Chromecast-audio, both magically transformed to Squeezbox-radios thanks
to squeeze2cast.

update, so maybe that broke something with Synology. Sometimes things
will play, most of the time they won't. If music starts playing, at

hey philip, the chromecast configuration file isn't being generated.
any ideas? on your upnp plugin, it does create the file just fine.
