Attached is the log file with Player handles next track set to yes. I also changed the Scan for UPnP devices to 120 seconds and the Player discovery removal to 5 failed scans. This log is created with Debug Settings set to none and Enable Logging checked but seems just as verbose as my previous

The roku seems to not answer each and every upnp discovery request so what's happens is that it's removed in a middle of a play,, as you noticed. You can do these discoveries much less often (2min or more) - or even disable them - and wait for player response for longer, maybe 1 min. You can also
