If you have the urls pointing correctly to your own hosted files, that should work. CustomClock does cache these images on the local player. If the image files didn't download correctly, you may be able to manually delete the bad cached versions using ssh. Impressed by the plugin's stability ... but completely baffled by how to control volume levels. Using the zero setting, I have to manually increase the volume on the player to hear anything. If I change the stream, then the volume is retained. If I stop the stream and select another stream, then it's back to manual adjustment. I tried a positive value in the settings - made no difference. Grrr. Using upnpbridge, I can always get a stable volume when stopping and changing streams. I am seeing something with this plugin that I don't understand. Around half of the MixCloud tracks I attempt to play will not play. There is no apparent way to tell which ones will play or not until they are tried. When playing a playlist, the error will just stop the entire playlist. The problems appear to be MP4. Now here is the confusing part. If I download the file directly from MixCloud using http://offliberty.com/, I can save a local copy of the MP4 file, which then plays just fine on the same players locally that fail when playing from the MixCloud plugin. Does anyone have any ideas? Each change causes the playback section to jump up and down. (Difficult to describe) Would it be possible to stabilize the display? Another possibility is problem is CDN specific and the CDN that DASH player uses by default is Akamai but there is a another CDN "Limelight" just there is no way in the plugin to select CDN. The player preloads chunks and each chunk is about 6 secs long so you shoudn't get many gaps since you seem to get bursts of good flow with pauses or usually up to 3-5 secs in between. I've had this sort of "service" before and it only seemed to last a few hours or max 1/2 a day. I have pull up the voltage to 1,2 Volt on the webpage. The hdd is located in lms and works fine but not in max2play. So for the decoder error on device with MAC address " b8:27:eb:21:e7:17" - at a guess this is a soft player which has been set up wrong possibly missing libraries. WRT the "Listen Again" problem. When BBCiPlayer starts a "listen Again" stream it preloads buffers and then once enough has been fetched, it starts playing, it fetches 6 sec chunks as required. BBC servers can have problems with delays delivering packet as long as 30 sec and occassionbaly over 3 minutes which means player buffers run out. It is possible this is your issue. To confirm the problem, I suggest replacing the DASH.pm file in the plugin as per this post http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104672-BBCiPlayer-with-DASH-support-test-version=856064=1#post856064 The replaced DASH.pm has a few tweaks to deal with long delays and it will also generate specific log message when BBC server takes more than 500ms to reply. If it is a BBC problem then little can be done (without going to the extreme of preloading whole programs) as it occurs on all DASH player including BBC own Web browser player. This means that the plugin loads the HTML page to try and find the filename of the track. After that, it has to search for the correct server where this track is located. This could be stream1.mixcloud.com, stream50.mixcloud.com, or everything in between. That's why it's taking a long time. The log settings are also not optimal. For the previous version, the default logging was debug. When the HTML page is examined, the complete page is printed in the debug log. I plan the change when is outputted at what log level to something a bit more sensible. For now, you can change to log level to anything other than debug. Firstly thanks for a great plugin. I'm having an issue where when listening to a "Listen Again" programme, after a few minutes the stream will abruptly stop. I've set everything to use DASH. Do you have any ideas? I have uninstalled the old and your version appeared under your repo. First impressions: --visual improvements are great --mp4 skip problem still there --when you click play for a track, reaction time is unpredictable. Nothing happens, no counting, no adding to playlist, but it starts after a while. It was working without a problem with the old one. -- This is maybe not everyone for to see, but I use Max2Play and there is a weird problem coming from old plugin and it's still there. Thank you for that 505, I will test and report back soon. Before testing I can tell you that Mixcloud plugin was good with mp3 streams but if the stream is mpeg-4 than skip was not working.
