I'm really confused now because on the Sugarcube page FAQ, it states
that there's no need to turn on MusicIP in the LMS Plugins, so I have it
unchecked. So to answer your question, when I click the M icon in LMS
next to an artist/album/track, I do not see a MusicIP mix option.

Well its taking me long enough but finally got it working. I found the

Now I suppose I have to play with it a bit to really get into more
trouble but so far so good.
One thing as a tip I read in another post which seemed to

Just one more desperate question from me.
What's the full path to the music files ?
I'm asking because I know some MusicIP versions have had issues with
path's containing non US ascii

It's possible through the web interface by using Custom Browse plugin

looking with MP3Tag at my files and am noticing that I'm missing quite a
few FLAC Fingerprint tags, though as I said before, I do have all the

Theoretically speaking it shouldn't have any consequences, as all data
is also saved into the MusicIP database (default.m3lib), which is where
the mixing system gets all data. I think your problem is caused by a
combination of factors: adding music to the MusicIP database through the

Does the MusicIP headless service use the same library as the MusicIP

Ok, when I make a change in MIP GUI, I do indeed see the Reload Cache
button in Headless server so they're indeed using the same db.

It's pretty self-explanatory: you start it up and walk through it from

That is correct - with the 3rd party spotify plugin you can add the
