Well it does look like the fault lies with the programming, either the

The people blaming the computer are responsible for what it does, though.
They should know you

The Forest Service is trying to figure out how to get rid of a
half-dozen frozen cows crowded inside a small cabin in the Colorado high
country before the carcasses thaw and become bear bait in the popular

Except - the article mentions an attendance percentage - which leads me
to think that the letter was generated automatically - and goes out to
EVERY Kid who is below that percentage.
Of course, if the student had been properly removed from the school

Aren't you one of those who have railed against the government dictating the

OK - U 2 gave me a REALLY GOOD Chuckle on this one!
And - of course, we need to be careful about where we go on this topic - since

since we are now getting a little political in this discussion.
Pete - I gotta say -

I don't recall broadly campaigning against rules, but have objected to

My current thinking is that what is really needed is some kind of
interface between the vehicle computer and the operator.
Initially, rather than a breathalyzer, there could be some kind of
cognitive/ reaction time test that the driver would need to pass before
the vehicle would start. This

You may joke on Breathalysers but its heading that way. From July, in France
you must carry two of them in the car. And it's rumoured that cars that
won't start unless you pass a test are being discussed. I don't get that as
a mate can do that for you.
I think Spain may follow with carrying them

In fact, the coming french law says that we must have one breathalyser

I would assume that after the second, you would be taken for a blood or
urine test. I think the point of the second is in case you say I just used
the first and it was ok. But the police won't know when you actually used
it. It won't take place of proper tests though surely.
