If the backcolor is not white I set the Style to 1 which is graphical
I would guess you have a bad DVD/CD drive. Try replacing it...even if
you have to borrow one from another system. Booting from the optical
drive is a BIOS thing, not OS. Even if your CD/DVD disc were bad, you'd
get an error saying so when it tried to boot from the optical drive.
