on the back? Or alternately does anyone know of a source for PCB material that is around .050 thick instead of .062. (Two sided board) I would use the PC mount version of the DB-25, but it doesn't fit in the little plastic std housing. Thanks for any help you can give. Lloyd Johnson DS

[PEDA] PLCC Socket reliability

PLCC sockets for larger parts just inherently a bad idea? This socket uses the same footprint as the PLCC part, so we can change to direct soldering the part in place if this is needed. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Lloyd Johnson, DSS Vista CA
