Another approach would be to make use of Chirs Cave's 'MView' which is
designed to allow views of several documents at once, rather than use
Quill.
Point missed here - it's not just Quill, the whole of QPC2 is affected,
Chris Cave's MView would be just as affected as Quill or Text 87 or
about.
Right, back to that QL virus I was writing ;-))

Have just done a very quick trial with QPC priorities (going to work 10
minutes ago!)
QPC2 was set to LOWEST priority in both fore- and background. Switching
foreground to NORMAL seems to get a better speed. More testing needed!

Anyone know if it's possible to change the justification status (left,
right, centre) for a Easymenu created loose item in a program? I suspect
not, as it's set in Easymenu and there doesn't seem to be an extension which
can set this for a loose item.

In fact, there is still a small bug in Lanchpad with an error reporting menu

desktop, then you might consider just using Dilwyn Jones' launchpad which
uses
the Pointer Environment and is designed to run on standard QLs (or so I
believe)

assume a filename extension of '_obj'. Obviously, only do this with a COPY
of the program in case it doesn't work properly! NEVER patch a job with a
plain text editor, you'll lose the dataspace and possibly add unwanted
linefeeds and so on.

All it does its create a device to which you can send
print output. Does nothing with it.
Tested it last night on QPC2 with QD
mail from me.
They are PDF files, and the text can be extracted in the usual way,
but it becomes an unformatted mess. I created a minimalist plain text
Epson codes list but this is rather less comprehensive than the Epson
PDFs. The text version is more easily emailed etc.
