Any way to read vmailmgr-mails via IMAP ?

I'm looking for a way to let my vmailmgrd users to read their mail using IMAP (for example via imp). Is there a way to make this work ? Why isn't there and standard imap client with qmail ? Would it be so difficult to programm ? :) Cheers, Olivier

Notification E-mails

Say if a user has 2 or 3 mail accounts and only one is the primary account that he checks every day. Is it possible to get qmail to send the user notification of new e-mails when they arrive in his other 2 accounts? I assume some command would have to go into the .qmail file in the home

How to stop remote host lookup?

It is my understanding that is it neither necessary nor desireable to do a remote host lookup on each incoming mail item. However, I have tried to start qmail-smtpd under tcpserver with both the -H and -R options, as well as a combination of both. Still, identd is trying to do a remote lookup
