Greg, There is no doubt in my mind that you have a similar problem. They tell me it's orthostatic hypotension. It can come from eating as well as standing or sitting up too quickly. When they have trouble getting your blood pressure, try tilting back as far as you can. I have to tilt back when I

I have problems with this occasionally, especially after I eat or first get seated in the chair. It's definitely not good to have this low. It's hard on your heart and your kidneys, not to mention all of the other internal organs. Just FYI, if you can't get a reading sitting up, try tilting back

I have the same problem Dana. My pressure is really low in the chair but shoots through the roof as soon as I get in bed. That's why I don't use any medications for my low pressure problems. I used to take ephedrine to help with low pressure but no pharmacies around here will fill

There are a few reasons that your blood pressure might be shooting around. First, do you ever test to see if your bladder has much residual urine? If you have a few hundred CCs can cause your blood pressure to be high. Your bowels can have an equally upsetting effect on your blood pressure.
