Suggestions welcomed
Is it possible that excessive movement of the suspension has pulled the
handbrake on?

I jacked up a FWD car which was on a SORN and had not been moved for a while.
With the undriven rear wheel just off the ground I could rotate it slowly by
hand.
Wanting to take a closer look I jacked the car higher (to get a block or axle
stand underneath) but found that the wheel was now

The fault might simply be that the lead into the top of the distributor cap is

Does it still have an RS turbo engine?
Thanks for getting in touch Chris. I was its second owner. The car originally

If the present owner of the RS Turbo coupe chassis no 99 reads this he might be
able to challenge this too since it had done 98000 miles at the time I bought
it almost 20 years ago.

Sorry I
Luxury cars with discs all round often have small drums built into the
disc on the rear wheels, which is used for the parking brake. The
reason being that if you park a disc braked car on an incline, with
very hot discs when the discs cool the car can start to slide down the
incline.
Sorry I can't remember all the details but I am fairly sure that the
man who had an H4 before he reverted to Morgans who had a company
making plastic mouldings actually made headlamp covers for a small
group of QC members. Michael
