Hey guys,
I have a rather peculiar issue. Sometimes all the UI elements stop responding
to mouse clicks (or touch pad for that matter). This includes all AppVMs and
dom0. E.g. I can't switch tabs in the browser or tabs in terminal emulators or
just select or move windows with the mouse. I still

Hi qubes-users,
I installed a completely fresh installtion of QUBES R3.2 on a Lenovo v570
notebook and if I try to start any VM, I receive the following error:

--> Loading the VM (type = NetVM)...

Here's what worked for me...
When you hit the uuid error, delete your custom win7.conf and make a new copy
of the system win7.conf, repeat the cirrus fix, and you may be good to go.
Apparently a uuid gets written to the system conf file and if your custom one
is out of sync then things don't wo

Really basic hints, but often those end up being the hardest to realize.

Did you enable audio input for this VM?
(Right-click the VM on qubes-manager and choose "Enable audio input", or
press the mic button on the toolbar.)

Hello all,
I am not only new to Qubes, I am also new to linux so I am going to have to
learn a lot. I would appreciate any help.
I have a windows 7 iso on usb. I created a usb vm called sys-usb. Now I am
trying to copy the iso file to dom0 based on the following:
"qvm-start win7 --cdrom=/us

Hello,
This HCL report was generated during a fast few hours test, when I
installed Qubes R3.3 and played with it a bit, before I had to install a
definitive OS install on my personal computer (Qubes OS doesn't fit all my
needs yet, but I loved the concept).
I couldn't really put too many AppVMs

What asks for the code?

AFAIK it is not supported on Qubes.

Hi,
I have a T450s, and it works well, just this:
Seems to have a problem for me, i often miss wireless after suspend.
I need to stop firewall and wlan vm to reload iwlwifi driver.
No easy to unload iwlwifi, faster to stop and start.
I don't remember i have this problem before.
No other problems
Just because the baton was dropped doesn't mean that others weren't
willing to pick it up.
There are a few groups now that are forward porting the last grsecurity
release (4.9.24) to work with newer kernels in the 4.9 branch. This is
the one that the Hardened Kernel Community Project links to:

So, I tried these scenarios:

code, and then reboot - nothing but black screen. Honestly

Agree. On my hardware, I found that xrandr worked well, and
xfce4-display-settings didn't. See:

Does trying to do the Qubes installer from a USB drive give you any
differences than a SD card? Have you looked around the user group to see if
anyone else has had luck with SD booting?

Drew, as I've said my wifi card is not supported . Perhaps, yours isn't either.
I need to test something that pfsense can talk to.
all I changed in VM config was to do with virtual interfaces. those are
correctly recognised as xn0 and xn1.

Hey!
I have still a problem with my headset.
If i plugin them over USB, nothing happens, the USB do not react... i
think its because there are no drivers for this headset.
If i plugin over normal sound-input so i can hear the sound (youtube for
example), but i hear nothing over the mic.
