Two things to try:
1. Press & hold the Pause button to actually STOP the stream (vs just
Pausing it).
2. Watch the traffic indicator light after about 1 minute, might just
be the stream buffer has not exhausted itself before then.

I've tested my Radio streaming a 320k station with only a 60% WiFi
signal, streamed 24/7 from MySB.com for days without issue.
That is what is odd about the reported Radio WiFi issue, for some it is
a constant & repeatable problem, while others never see the issue.

By chance are you switching the Radio between your local LMS server and
MySB.com server online? If yes, the Presets are unique for each
server.
So either do not switch servers or program the same Presets on each
server.
Just a guess if this might be your problem. :)

Yes, it will work fine on both. You need to connect SqueezePlay to your
server on your NAS just like your Radio. I do not use the software
players so I am not sure how to do it.

Something to try is maybe drop down the max settings for both Data Rate
and Transmit Power, maybe set them to Auto if available.
RF devices can become overwhelmed if there is too much power (signal)

I really think it was a security setting or limitation on your router.
Now you can enjoy.
May as well do a factory reset on the router if you are considering

Radio's WiFi indicator colors (red, blue, white) no longer signify what
they used too. Whether this is now by design or just another bug I
don't know.
Your described symptoms indicate the players lost connection to
MySB.com and not your network, this is now red.
remember changing the radio presets in dads car when we were kids.
