Thanks Michael. I've power-cycled the radio at least a dozen times in
the last hour. But after seeing your 'half-connected' message I did it
again. And still no

Hi phred,
please restart your radio. I see that it was only "half-connected". A
restart should fix this.

Thanks.
When I click on My Music it tries to connect but after about a minute I
get a 'problem connecting' error message. It never gives me an option to
connect to

I've reached a good news/bad news point in my attempt to configure this
new (used) Radio.
The good news is that the device now shows up on mysqueezebox.com.
Thanks to mherber for resetting the MAC address in the database.
The bad news is that despite following Apesbrain's detailed instructions
The setting files for the Radio are in /etc/squeezeplay/userpath
however, you'll need to change the MAC address in
settings/SlimDiscovery.lua to match that of the new radio before
restoring the files.
Jive updates the settings files during operation, so you'll need to kill
the /usr/bin/jive
Setting smanager is for the older players which had most of the
settings kept by LMS as the player was quite dumb.

That's really too bad. I just took a look at its description and it
would be a tremendous help to cloning one device to another.

Good information - thanks. I'm pretty sure the device arrived having
been factory reset as when first powered up it stepped me through the
language, etc settings.

The first thing I'd do with a used Radio is a factory reset:
https://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/13945
Next, I'd reapply the latest firmware. Go into
Settings/Advanced/Applets and deselect "Reinstall after Firmware
Update". Then, you can get Radio firmware here:
