I am impressed: 2 miles of 8% is no easy walk! Not to mention 35 miles. I'd want to do 35 miles on the bike and find another way for the return (I'd often take a detour one or both ways to add up to 10 miles for a total of 40 rt, but that wasn't something I'd do 5 days a week, week in and out.
