I'd say the tires are too big for that bike. There's the Nokian A10 in 650b, which is much smaller, actual 35mm width. Might not be the aggressive tread and studs you need, but it's probably the better tire for the bike if you want to run fenders. Also, to keep in mind, fenders will easily fill
