I've had 54mm Thunderburts on my 58cm Appaloosa. They work really well. No
problems, great tires. I wouldn't hesitate to run the 55 Big Bens on it either.

ease of taking it apart. I had a problem though. I needed to take mine
apart because on my first ride the rear freewheel mechanism locked up. When
I took it apart and looked at the pawls I was amazed that there were six

soul purpose of using it as a pointer in that photo! Sub-optimal indeed...
When I say it locked up, I mean it became effectively a fixed gear. I could
not get it undone from that condition until I returned home and took it

Selling a really nice Rich Lesnik built 650b wheelset. Perfectly true, low
miles. No brake pad ridging in the rims at all. 32 spokes front and rear.
The Babyshoe Pass front tire is in very good condition. You can still see

When the weather gets generally dry I prefer to not have fenders on my
Appaloosa. We do have a lot of squirrelly squirrels here in the north
eastern US. Lots of rabbits too on the MUP. They behave differently from
squirrels but also unpredictably! So, yes, I worry about that happening.

Hi Mike. I have an Albastache in my parts bin that I have been gearing up to
sell. I tried it on a couple of different builds but only for a short time on
both. It's just not a fit for me. So even though it has a little shellac on it
and some glue from bar tape, it has seen very little use. Let

like them a lot and so bought 2 more pairs for $29 each on Amazon. They are
tough and smooth and seem serviceable. I say they seem serviceable because I

I received Rivs November email promo yesterday and down at the bottom they have
this new bag: Randi Jo XL Pocket tender bag. Looks interesting. Follow the link
and it’s out of stock. That just makes it look more interesting to me! But what
is it? All photos show it detached from the bike or pers
Yeah... I guess there were only 20 after internal sales. More info in
Grants new blahg post. I like carrying a camera when I ride and this bag
looks super convenient for that and lots of other stuff right there on the
bar. I am also liking the new and upcoming banana bag. Good stuff.

Whew! That Saluki is blowing my mind. If I had 1800 and didn’t just buy a
Roadini I would snatch that up. Seems like an incredible deal with the wheelset
and fenders. I like the visiting yellow jacket in a few of the pics of the
headset area. Well, anyway, nice sale, great prices, no association
