When I was looking for a new FD for my 26-42, I looked at 7400's on eBay, but they weren't really all that cheap, or were quite beat up. I ended up with a c. 1990 Campagnolo Croce d'Aune FD from the UK that had been cleaned and polished so it looked like new, and it shifts the 26-42 very well.
