And yeah, I forgot to mention, "bike path" is something of a broad spectrum
catch-all around here.

front hub and were happy with it as far as doing what they needed from it -

I’d abstain from calling him wimpy or weak. Biking isn’t his thing; he grew up
on a farm and they rode motorcycles and snowmobiles. If biking isn’t your
passion, it’s not your passion. His passion lies in his field of work, and he

The problem is assuming everybody has to enjoy bicycles the way we do. Ebikes
provide a fun way to get around for people who either can't or don't want to
pedal as much as most of us do.

for an e-conversion. I'm sure there's someone in town who could build it for
him.

It's probably about eight miles from the Marina basins to where the bike
path runs out at Will Rogers, but you can poop out and turn around at any
point north of the Santa Monica Pier without missing much once the novelty
of riding next to the Pacific Coast Highway wears off.
