I am looking for someone that can help me with a Regency Repeater.
What I need is to know whatt to do to get the controller
disconnected so that I can use the reciever/transmitter from this
unit to connect to a Link Communication RC4L Contoller board.

RLC-4 that could answer some questions regarding the DVR? What I am
looking to find out is if there is a way to make the contoller send
a DVR message at any period of time without having to call it up.

Thanks for the tip. Well it was worth a try. I had it given to me
for use as a repeater. It's a new unit that never even got used, but
sad to say the ovens are gone. Suppose it's a good boat anchor.

I have surplus to my needs an SCOM 5K controller. Was going to use
it on my repeater, but ended up with an RLC2 Controller. $135.00
shipped to lower 48. Has the latest revision 1.79. Would consider
a trade for quality vhf receiver that is tuned to 146.325 that has a

Several people responded to my need for an amp, and thought we had
one donated, however turns out it was no count, good intentions on
the gentleman's part. As funds are low for the reapeater project, I
would like to entertain a trade on a full duty cycle 2 meter
repeater amp, 5 watts or less

base project. Some frequencies can be used, 52 simplex work out to
be the best of them all. So no no 2 meter remote base, 440 and 220
should work fine.

Need some input on this, what others think. I am trying to pull all
the Regency stuff from the repeater, only thing left is the
transmitter. I want to use a Yaesu FT-10R as an exciter for the amp
to the repeater. What are some thoughts on this. I only need a
half watt to drive the amp.
I just got a 4 channel micor radio, T73RTN3180B radio, actually two
radio's and one set on control heads. The radio comes on, has good
volume, and squelch works, but there is no receiver sensitivity, nor
power ouput. Both radios do the exact same thing. I'm thinking

repeater. ABout 15 miles away, I'm being told that my repeater can
be heard on the output for about 20 to 25 Khz away. From what I am

Can anyone tell me if the Vocom VCC200 amp is a narrow band amp?
Meaning if it is tuned for 146 Mhz, will it be wide enough to goto
145, below the middle of the band? Can they make them narrow ennough
to only go 1 meg? Also if anyone has any tune-up information on the

What are the thoughts, I am using two of the DB4001 filters on the
receive side of my repeater before a preamp, and what I want to know
is should both of them be set to pass the receive frequency of
repeater, or should one be set to the transmit frequency? What is the
best method?

Can anyone tell me, I am using a TS-64 tone board wired directly into
the cat1000B controller, and for some reason the output of the tone is
very weak, and that is with the pot turned all the way up. It is less
than .800 KC and used to be about 1.3 before I changed the frequency
