Hi everyone.
We need to know who is still running Review Board directly out of a SVN
checkout, rather than through an installed copy (by way of "make install").
We're trying to transition away from Makefiles for installation and toward
Python eggs. However, this requires a few changes in our SVN
I want to thank everyone who replied, and if you haven't yet we'd still love
your input! We had some good comments on the subject.
It seems that while most places have moved past IE6 at this point or are
willing to, there are still several who can't upgrade at this point. So I'll
continue to work
These past couple days, Christian and I have been looking at
performance. Especially in large deployments, reviewboard can get a
bit pokey.
One thing we discovered is that the database accesses for the
dashboard weren't optimal. We've added some custom indexes to the
codebase, but they'll only be
Nope. all the python stuff is under cygwin - doesn't run (without
some serious setup issues) under dos. Note that this used to work
with the previous version of post-review (v0.7)... under cygwin.

Maybe I missed this part in your response, but did you try running
post-review in a standard DOS box with command.com?

I'm stuck.
I did a difference between the 0.7 version I was using (a patched
version from a while ago) and the new pristine 0.8 version. The diff
command line is different, so I figured I'd just use the older
version. The execute subroutine is pretty significantly different too
though, so I was
Take a look at .pth files
http://www.python.org/doc/2.5.2/inst/search-path.html - it sounds like
this is a good example of when they could be useful.

Hi again,
Could anyone please give me some pointers on how to resolve this? Has
Review Board been known to work on non-root installations at all? If
so, what do I need to do to get Django (in the global site-packages)
see djblets in my home directory?
Thanks,
Mark

I've done a google search and also a search of past messages without
finding anything meaningful.
We use hard tabs in our source code and out editors expand them to the
equivalent of 4 spaces. ReviewBoard seems to expand them to 8 which
messes up the alignment and makes code reviews a bit more o
Hi,
As backwards as it sounds, some of the developers in my project are
still using IE6 - and so is pretty much all management for that matter
(it's what comes by default in our workstation installations, it's
what they use).
In any case, ceasing support doesn't sound too unreasonable. Might

Moving to IE 6 would be difficult, if not impossible. Also, we're looking
at expanding the use of Review Board to other groups within our organization
and removing IE6 support would definitely hamper that effort.
