Hi,
There's no good way of doing this right now. Review Board really requires a
repository of some sort.
Is Synchronicity the name of the SCM? I haven't seen this one. I'd love the
URL if you have it.
Assuming there are tools available for fetching a file on a remote server

Thanks for the notes, Chris. Hopefully that'll help other people who are
trying to upgrade old installs.
I should point out for anyone else reading the notes that you were able to
get away with not needing the old secret key because you're (I'm assuming)
using something like LDAP or NIS or Active
Do you know exactly how old the old install was? Preferably which SVN
revision?
Did you use rb-site for the old version as well?
You shouldn't need to start with a new database, but it doesn't sound like
your site install upgraded correctly. We'll need to figure out what exactly
is causing this.
Hi,
Strange, this is the first time I've seen that issue with mod_python myself.
We generally recommend mod_python, as it's worked pretty well for us.
mod_wsgi should work, but we don't support generating mod_wsgi configuration
out of the box yet.
As for mod_fastcgi, it looks like for whatever r
Hey folks,
I am trying to install review-board on a fedora-core 8 machine, m not
able to run with either mod_python or mod_fastcgi. Will appreciate any
help :)
I tried with mod_python and saw this exception, causing me to show a
white blank page.

Just a quick note that I was able to upgrade from Reviewboard 0.9 to
1.0.5.1. Yes zero point nine to latest (stable)
0.9 pre-dates the rb-site so I simply had to:
1. Use rb-site to deploy a NEW EMPTY reviewboard server (yup, with a
new secret key, I didn't have to mess with it at all)
Hi,
I have been using reviewboard for doing a code review based on CVS.
However, there are new projects that are based on other repository
that is not in the supported list (Example: Synchronicity).
Is there a way to create review of those stored in non-supported
repository or any files that are
To add more info..we have never done any upgrade.
We install Reviewboard Beta in 2008 and still using the old Beta
version.
Is there a way or we need to start with new database with our RB 1.0.3
release?

John,
Were you ever able to get Review Board working well with Vault?
Thanks,
Lynn

Did you then run rb-site upgrade on it? It should have taken care of that.

Hello Chris,
The new import shows more information imported. It looks like the
database is imported correctly.
Now, when I login to RB, I get below message...
Looks like some mismatch in the database fields. Is some database
fields obsolete? How to fix this?
