This will be better in 1.1. I'm keeping track of many of the 500 cases
people are hitting and working on bullet-proofing this, so in the future
there will be helpful instructions instead of a confusing error page.

could this be somehow stated on the 500 error page? it took me quite a
while to figure this out today ... to finally get an error message
that "pysvn" could not be imported. because the log file says "...
with a minimum level of DEBUG " - which tricked me into "debug is
already set".

If you set DEBUG = True in your site's conf/settings_local.py and restart
your web server, you should see more information than just a 500.

I recommend turning that off once we've diagnosed the problem.

Hmmm, sounds like it's probably something in your web server install... We 
might be getting beyond me, but can you describe you environment? Send a copy 
of your (sanitized) config file?

Error 500 Logging on "New Review Request"

I've just installed ReviewBoard and after i set up a repository
(subversion) and attempt to create a New Review Request it gives me
the Error 500 page.  I can't find *any* logging of what happened.
Does anyone have ideas for how I can at least get logging
information?  I'm totally blind as to what the problem is without some
sort of log.
